NEED A FEATURE PHOTO HERE OF KYLE ON A HARLEY OR SOMETHING EQUALLY RIDICULOUS

THIS WEEK’S NUGENTS

NOTES TO SELF FOR APRIL 1 EDITION…

We need the less discerning to believe this is a real news post rather than something made up for April 1, so make sure all items are written in a sincere tone. We want them to think we may be crazy before they realize what day it is.

Write spoof news bit about a record company which also owns a radio station and publishes charts where their own artists are always “number one.”

Ask ChatGPT to write a paragraph condemning all the fake Artificial Intelligence generated music on YouTube. Can we easily convince an AI program to write an article completely condemning AI?

Post several fake album covers of SG artist performing styles way beyond their comfort zone. Remember a few years ago when we had The McKameys performing Bach? It may be hard to top that one.

Blah, blah, blah…

Wrap it all up with a “looks like a man, sounds like a woman” joke for an unoriginal finish. They always laugh when it comes to that line.

DON’T FORGET! Reschedule publication time to 2:00 PM on Wednesday if this article isn’t completed before 8:00 AM as it’s currently scheduled. We wouldn’t want these notes getting published as if they were intended to be the real article all along.

Keeping Focus

This past weekend, I ran book tables at a conference. It had been over a year since I had done that, but since it was a large portion of my life for a number of years, I felt right at home. God has given me the ability to connect with people, and I love doing so. As I...

Loving God’s Law

Oh, how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. ~Psalm 119:97 I wonder how many Christians can honestly say they love God's law, let alone meditate on it. A love for God's law begins with a love for His Word, yet many struggle to read the Bible, as they...
