GOSPEL MUSIC HAPPENINGS

HighRoad signed an exclusive recording agreement with New Day Records.

Gospel trio Avenue joined Main Street Music & Entertainment as the first artist on their Penn Street Records label.

Songwriter Lee Black and former Perrys member Bryan Walker joined Legacy Five, assuming the positions of tenor and baritone respectively.

    I have enjoyed Bryan’s singing over the years. Am I right in thinking that before the Perrys he was with the Dixie Melody Boys? Just another graduate of the Ed O’Neal University. :-)

      Yes, Walker was the DMBs lead singer in 2006, then switched to baritone in 2007. After that, he worked as a policeman and tried out for American Idol before joining the Perrys in 2010.
