APRIL 1, 2024: MusicScribe owner and writer, David Bruce Murray, is excited to announce the recent rebranding of his site to Bill Gaither’s MusicScribe effective immediately.

“When I saw how successful Mr. Gaither has been with previous periodical ventures such as Homecoming Magazine, I simply couldn’t turn down the opportunity to add Bill’s brand to our site,” explains Murray. “I can’t wait to see how the Gaither brand will enhance MusicScribe!”

Among the changes expected in the coming days are a complete removal of any articles not specifically related to Bill Gaither, the Gaither Vocal Band, the Homecoming video/audio series, Gaither TV, artists under contract to Gaither Music, or Gloria Gaither’s writing. Any articles and/or reviews not considered to be “unmistakably positive” in their representation of the Gaither brand will also be edited to remove any negative insinuations.

Advertising for the new site will begin soon with a promotional campaign on Gaither.com and a special edition of  “Homecoming Radio” on Bill Gaither’s enLighten. A commemorative DVD is also planned, entitled Bill Gaither’s Favorite Posts from Bill Gaither’s MusicScribe, hosted by Bill Gaither, which will debut on GaitherTV and select Gaither Gospel Hour airings nationwide. An accompanying audio release will also be available from Gaither Music under the artist, “Gaither.”

As part of the rebranding efforts, Murray has agreed to fire long-time MusicScribe nuisance contributor, Kyle Boreing.
