REMEMBERING

Longtime Oak Ridge Boys tenor singer Joe Bonsall passed away on Tuesday, June 9. Bonsall’s declining health had forced him to retire from traveling with the group at the beginning of 2024. At the request of Joe, there will be no funeral service. Donations in his memory may be made to The ALS Association or to the Vanderbilt Medical Center ALS and Neuroscience Research Center.

Former Skyline Boys Quartet singer and Journey Records co-owner Dennis Powers passed away on Monday, July 8. A memorial service for Powers was scheduled for this morning in Amissville, Virginia.
