Gospel Music Happenings

  • The 2018 Dove Award Winners were announced on Tuesday, October 16th. A complete list of winners can be found here.
  • Daywind Records has signed Michael Booth to an exclusive solo recording agreement. Booth’s solo appearances will be scheduled through the Harper Agency.
  • On a related note, Michael Booth will continue to sing with the Booth Brothers, but the group will be making fewer appearances than in the past. They expect to schedule approximately 70 dates in 2019.


  • Alan Godsey, founding member of The Northmen and the Northern Gospel Singing Convention, passed away Saturday at the age of 66. Godsey’s memorial service was held yesterday (Thursday, October 18) in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
