- McCray Dove announced he is retiring from traveling full-time at the end of 2018. Remaining Dove Brothers dates for 2018 will feature Larry Heustess as well as McCray and Eric Dove. McCray’s long-term plans include serving as pastor of a church in Colorain, North Carolina.
- Gold City has added G W Southard to fill the pianist position vacated earlier this year by Bryan Elliott.
- Former Gold City musician and evangelist Adam Borden announced he is now offering bass guitar lessons via video chat, billing it as “Basstime On Facetime.” If you are interested in taking lessons, click HERE to contact Borden through his website.
Remembering
- Long-time Blackwood Brothers tenor and Grand Ole Gospel Reunion favorite Bill Shaw passed away on September 7. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 16 in Anderson, South Carolina.
