Gene Hamman announced that his group, PromisedLand Quartet, will be retiring at the end of August after a 25-year run. Hamman cited the pressures of managing a group while working a full-time day job as the primary reason for his decision.

PRAYER REQUEST

Please keep Ann Downing in your prayers. She has several compressed vertebrae as well as two fractured vertebrae which makes moving around challenging. 

REMEMBERING

A memorial service for pianist/producer/singer/songwriter Garry Jones who passed away on Sunday, April 27 will be held on Monday, May 19 in Pace, Florida. 

Former Southmen Quartet member Larry Parker passed away on Wednesday, April 30. A memorial service for Parker was held on Monday, May 5 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
