The Chuck Wagon Gang announced the addition of upright bass guitar player Ronnie Parker. The Missouri native who has previously traveled with The Dave Parmley Band and Appalachian Smoke replaces Cody Shaneyfelt who announced his departure from the CWG in February.
Gold City announced a special upcoming performance on SBN-TV will feature a live band of musicians from Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. The broadcast is set for June 22.
REMEMBERING
Former Hee Haw television star Lulu Roman passed away on April 23 at the age of 78. Roman recorded several Southern Gospel albums and appeared as a Christian solo singer after her career as a television comedian/actress ended.
