#NEWSNUGGETS
Dean Hickman of The Guardians announced he will be transferring ownership of the group to lead singer John Darin Rowsey effective April 1, 2025. Hickman has managed the group since its inception in 1988.
Voting for the Singing News Fan Awards and the Southern Gospel Music Hall Of Fame opened this week.
Several years ago, singer/songwriter Brandon Heath released American Sign Language videos for his entire 2017 album Faith Hope Love Repeat. He recently did it again for his entire 11-track album, The Ache (originally released in 2024). Several videos include performances by Deaf artists. Heath and his collaborators hope to shed light on the needs of the Deaf community not only in music but a variety of projects. Getting the Holy Bible translated into Deaf languages besides ASL is one example.
