Nominees for the Best Roots Gospel Album include The Gospel Sessions, Vol 2 by Authentic Unlimited; The Gospel According To Mark by Mark D. The LeFevre Quartet announced a new partnership with Daywind Records. The group has recorded on the Daywind-owned New Day Records label since 2017.
Joel Perales has relaunched The Galileans, a group he previously toured with (and composed songs for) during the 1970s. Joining Perales in the revived group are his wife Rose and Gil Ybarra.
Steven Curtis Chapman was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry last Friday night.
