NEWS OF THE WEEK

The Gospel Music Association and GMA Foundation elected/re-elected board members for 2024-2025. Zane King and Ed Harper are among the names on the GMA board. Harper and Ed Leonard continue to hold positions on the GMA’s Executive Committee. Paul Sizelove began a 3-year term on the GMA Foundation’s board.

Joseph Habedank kicked of his new tour with a surprise…a two-piece band. Pianist Josh Tomlin and guitarist Anthony Rogers will now be traveling with Habedank on his autobiography tour.

Singing News announced the Top Five finalists for their 2024 Fan Awards. A Top Ten was announced for the Musician category due to errors on the Round Two ballot. The final round of voting will be held on July 1-10, and winners will be announced during the National Quartet Convention in September.
