NEWS OF THE WEEK

The Southern Gospel Music Guild presented Crossroads Music’s head of publishing/artist relations Greg Bentley with their 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award this week. Bentley has helped develop the careers of numerous artists since joining Crossroads in 1993. He previously sang tenor with the Hoppers, Down East Boys, and the Squire Parsons Trio.

Zach Williams will release a children’s book (ages 4-8) in August titled A Little More Like Jesus that teaches the fruits of the spirit. The book’s title comes from a line in Williams’ song “Less Like Me.”

The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced the GMA Mentorship Program to develop and encourage young industry professionals. The program pairs artists under the age of 35 with industry executives.

It’s past time, but shoutout to the Inspirations landing number 1 on Apple Music Christian charts!
May not be a huge milestone but still worthwhile
