NEWS OF THE WEEK
Bryan Elliott announced he is launching a solo career with appearances to fall between dates he performs as pianist with the Texas-based Inspirationals Quartet. Elliott said in addition to playing piano, “…don’t be surprised if you hear me incorporate some singing into my programs.”
The Belmont, North Carolina-based group Higher Ground is seeking to add a full-time female singer. Alto Doricia Wright says she is not leaving the group but she wants to ensure all vocal parts are covered in instances when her health prevents her from appearing. Kelly Crabb announced her engagement to pianist/bus driver John Jeffrey. The couple plans to be married in the fall.
PRAYER REQUEST
Music producer and former Old Paths/Kingsmen/LeFevre Quartet tenor Jeremy Peace had brain surgery this past Monday. There were complications but he has since improved and is about to start doing physical and occupational therapy. Your continued prayers are appreciated.
