The Perrys announced the addition of baritone singer Jason Gordon. Dayton Gay will step into the lead spot recently vacated by Scott Brand. (Gay had been singing baritone since the departure of Jamie Streetman.) Gordon is scheduled to make his debut with The Perrys on August 1.

Singing News magazine announced they will add a spin-based Top 40 radio chart in October for the Christian Country genre.

The Gospel Music Association will announce nominees for their 54th Annual Dove Awards on Wednesday, August 9th at 10:00 AM CST on Facebook and YouTube.

REMEMBERING

Former Imperials drummer and Benson Sound recording studio owner Larry Benson passed away on Tuesday, July 25. A memorial service for Benson will be held Monday, July 31 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Click HERE to view Benson’s complete obituary.
