NEWS OF THE WEEK

The LeFevre Quartet announced the addition of pianist Channing Eleton who previously performed with Poet Voices and Gold City. The LeFevre Quartet is part-time, so Eleton will continue to appear with his group, The Channing Eleton Family, between LeFevre Quartet dates.

The Sharps announced the resignation of 16-year veteran lead singer, Mike Leath. The group has reorganized shifting Andy Sharp from tenor to lead and promoting pianist David Holt to the tenor spot.

    I can’t remember when it was mentioned on here, but there was a question regarding when the 2023 SGMA Hall of Fame inductees would be announced. According to the SGMA Spotlight in the July Singing News, they will begin announcing the 2023 inductees August 1.
