Jeff Chapman has been such a stalwart bass singer for the Kingdom Heirs for so many years. He will be greatly missed, and the KH sound will surely be changed. But the Heirs’ loss will be the Gold City’s gain.

Wonder if most SG fans feel that bass singers affect the sound of a SG quartet as much, as for instance, the sound of the lead or the tenor? Just curious…. thanks.

Love the Jeff Chapman news! My “love offering” to see his quartet will no longer require over $80 and a roller coaster.
I just can’t help but wonder how that’ll feel for him. Singing less, but traveling more. Hope somebody gets that interview

I’m not sure the wheels have stopped turning yet in Pigeon Forge. By his own admission on tour this winter, Loren isn’t in the best of health and Kreis French is still recuperating. Even though there’s no shortage of “helpful suggestions” on social media as to whom the KH’s should pursue(which furthers my belief that some people ought not be allowed on the internet), I’d like to see them get a new lead and move Loren back to baritone.

I’ve always thought the KH’s had the best gig in SGM, the fans come to them nine months out of the year, and a full schedule of tour dates in the winter, probably with a waiting list. If that’s so, then why has 3/4 of their front line left/are leaving? It’s none of our business, but we can’t help it.
