RECENT HAPPENINGS

With data already compiled for the upcoming December issue of Singing News magazine, Joseph Habedank has become the first soloist to reach the number one position four times in the 53-year history of the airplay chart. “Child Of The King” (co-written by Habedank, Dave Clark, Don Koch) propels Habedank past Mike Bowling who set the previous record of three number ones by a soloist in August 2003.

Thanks. I will add it to this post.

EDITED TO ADD: I’m glad you brought this to my attention. I’m listening to it now, and it’s probably the best album I’ve heard this entire year. I will say I’m not crazy about “It Is Well” with Vince Gill, but it’s the last track, and everything else before that is excellent…plus there are 14 tracks in all, so it’s more like a bonus track anyway.
