#NewsNuggets: 9-2-22


The Glorymen of Holly Springs, North Carolina has regrouped with previous members Wayne Coates (baritone) and Ron West (lead) returning and Ron’s brother Don West (tenor) joining Lacy Pittman (bass). The West brothers are Pittman’s cousins who previously sang with him in his first group in the early 1970s. Pittman has operated The Glorymen since 1989.

Brian Free & Assurance released the cover art for their upcoming album Meet Me At The Cross, a design that pays homage to their 1995 CD Things That Last Forever. The new album is scheduled for an October 7 release.

Abraham Productions announced they will give away a new car (model to be determined) at the 2023 Singing In The Sun in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the event. The concert promoter also announced several groups including the Gaither Vocal Band will appear for their first time at Singing In The Sun in 2023.
