RECENT HAPPENINGS
The Kingsmen Quartet announced the “one-time-only” Big & Live Quartet consisting of Johnny Parrack, Arthur Rice, Nick Bruno, and Ray Dean Reese will appear during the Big & Live 50th Anniversary event on March 24, 2023 in Gadsden, Alabama. The two-day event (March 24 & 25) will also include performances by the Dixie Echoes, Gordon Mote, Jonathan Wilburn, Gold City, Dennis Swanberg, Endless Highway, and the Kingsmen with the Big & Live Band.
The Southern Gospel Music Association announced a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at Biblical Times Theater, 2391 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 26, 2022 to celebrate the opening of the new location of the SGMA Hall Of Fame & Museum.
The SGMA also announced that Rodney Griffin, Arthur Rice, Kyla Rowland and Chris White will be formally inducted into the Hall of Fame during a special National Quartet Convention showcase at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge. The showcase will be hosted by Guardians bass singer Pat Barker and SGMA Board of Directors member Aaron Rich.
Family Music Group announced the addition of the Dover, Pennsylvania-based Bates Family to their roster of recording artists. This group has been in existence since 1985.
Godsey Media Management announced the promotion of Paul Secord to the position of President and the addition of songwriter Carolyn Cross who will serve as Executive Vice President. Cross and Secord will join company CEO Scott Godsey on the Board of Directors.

For clarification, the Brooklyn Tabernacle project is not the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. This is an ensemble effort – similar if not the same as their current worship format. They have guest appearances by TaRanda Greene, Brad Hudson, and Alvin Slaughter.
