LOCAL NEWS OF THE WEEK

Local Southern Gospel artists appearing in newspaper articles this week include Jeremy Goodling and his four daughters who perform billed as The Goodling Girls. Read all about this Pennsylvania family in The Daily Item.

His Way and Southern Style Quartet and other local acts will perform at the Rose Theater in Forsyth, Georgia on November 20 in a benefit for their local pregnancy center. Tickets are $15.00.

Echols County Schools’ Performing Arts in Statenville, Georgia recently won a regional contest for their musical one-act play “The Other Side Of Troublesome.” The performance features Southern Gospel hymns according to the Valdosta Daily Times.

REMEMBERING

The Life FM’s co-founder Bob McClure Sr. passed away on Friday, November 5 just eight days after his son and business partner Rob McClure Jr. passed away. A memorial service for McClure Sr. will be held on Sunday, November 14 in Taylors, South Carolina. Click HERE to view his complete obituary announcement.
