The Southern Gospel Music Association revealed that Marlin Taylor is now a member of the SGMA Hall Of Fame. Taylor launched the satellite radio channel enLighten in 2004 and operated it until he retired in 2013. An induction ceremony will be held in September during the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, TN for Taylor, Karen Peck Gooch (who was recently announced as an SGMA Hall Of Famer), and two more individuals yet to be revealed.

Absolutely Gospel announced the winners of their 2021 music awards Tuesday with a series of YouTube videos. Click HERE to view the videos and/or HERE to view a list of the winners.

After nearly two years performing with various individuals filling in, the Dixie Echoes have hired 22-year-old Trenton Williamson from Sumrall, Mississippi to sing tenor. Williamson replaces Stephen Adair who left the Dixie Echoes in July of 2019.

New Legacy Project announced the addition of Daniel Rivera as a permanent replacement for lead singer Hunter Sparkman.
