Tenor singer Jerry Martin announced his resignation from the Kingdom Heirs, a group he joined ten years ago in 2011. Martin’s final four shows with the group were this past Tuesday, January 3 at Dollywood. His future plans include expanding his current part-time work as a vocal coach to full-time.

In related news, the Kingdom Heirs announced they are not conducting open auditions for the tenor position at this time.

A one-hour television special centered around a re-imagined version of the Bill Gaither Trio classic song “The Church Triumphant” will air four times tonight on TBN at 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 PM (EST). Artists involved include The Martins, Michael W. Smith, Mandisa, Michael Tait, Toby Mac, Jody McBrayer, Mac Powell, Mark Lowry, the Gaither Vocal Band, and others.
