NEWS OF THE WEEK

Concert promoter Bill Bailey announced all of the 1:00 PM matinees and 6:30 PM (EST) evening concerts from his Winter Gospel Music Convention will be streamed live on YouTube starting Sunday, January 31 and running through Friday, February 5. Donations will be requested but not required. These concerts will be offered on YouTube only and will only be available as the events are happening; concerts will not be on Facebook or archived to watch later. The Gadsden, Alabama-based trio Exodus announced alto Crystle Elam has resigned her position to return to full-time, solo ministry. Hannah Brady, daughter of current Exodus member Susan Brady, has joined the group replacing Elam.

The winner of the Next Great Christmas Song contest is Nancy Blandford for her submission titled “Christmas Everywhere.” Co-writers on the song include Rachel Barrentine and Sarah Stankiewicz.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please keep former LeFevres, Old Paths, and Kingsmen Quartet tenor Jeremy Peace in your prayers as he recovers from a stroke that sent him to the hospital earlier this week.

Please pray for Carman Licciardello who developed internal bleeding after having minor surgery last week. Since having corrective surgery to repair the bleeding, he has contracted pneumonia and his liver and kidneys are not fully working.

    McKamey Legacy???? details or info? The McKameys facebook page says tour dates coming soon?

      You know precisely as much as we do at this point in time…except you place question marks randomly and we don’t ordinarily do that.

      I would guess they’ll issue some sort of statement about their plans when they announce their tour dates.
