NEWS THIS WEEK
Capitol Christian Music Group (the Christian music arm of Universal Music Group and current distributor for Gaither Music Group, and Difference Media) has announced a partnership with Anchor Distributors and New Day Christian Distributors to handle physical product distribution and fulfillment to independent Christian retailers effective January 4th, 2021.
After the internet refused to cooperate with concert promoter Bill Bailey’s Sing The Glory Down: Christmas Edition event this past Tuesday in Savannah, Tennessee, all the artists agreed to drive a couple of hours to Nashville and do it all again on Wednesday night. The concert was offered for free, but viewers were encouraged throughout to donate to the Southern Gospel Artist’s Relief Fund. Click HERE to donate or learn more about the fund which has aided many gospel artists during the COVID shutdown. Several thousand people tuned in to enjoy Wilburn & Wilburn, the Kingsmen Quartet, the LeFevre Quartet, Libbi Perry Stuffle, and Gold City. Kingsmen fans were especially delighted to see former Kingsmen pianist Andrew Ishee sitting in on keys while Gold City fans were similarly excited to see former Gold City lead singer Jonathan Wilburn filling in for Bruce Taliaferro. Enjoy the entire three and a half hour concert below.
