Ed O’Neal’s new autobiography, One Old Man Can’t Be All That Bad, co-written by MusicScribe’s David Bruce Murray, is now available for purchase from the Dixie Melody Boys website in a book/CD package. The book is also available at Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle formats.

The winner of the Pursuit 2020 talent search announced on Tuesday is The Siler Family from Virginia. The prize package includes recording sessions, a 6-song EP, and marketing support from Main Street Music & Entertainment as well as concert appearances sponsored by Singing News magazine.

IMC Concerts announced the 2021 Southwest Gospel Music Festival, originally scheduled for January 11-13 in Phoenix, Arizona, has been postponed.

New Day Christian Distribution announced they are now the exclusive distributor of music (physical, digital, and streaming) for Jordan Family Band.

REMEMBERING

Ordained trio member Glenda Hasty (formerly of her family group, The Hastys) passed away on Sunday, August 2. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 9 in Dalton, Georgia.
