NEWS THIS WEEK

Vine Records, which has been dormant for several years, has been reactivated as part of the StowTown family of labels. Vine will showcase bluegrass artists. The first release on the revived label features Lizzy Long and is out today. (See This Week’s Releases below.)

Main Street Music announced they have added Poet Voices to their Berry Hill Records label. New videos and music are planned for release this summer.

The Dixie Melody Boys announced tenor singer Derrick Boyd is leaving the group. Interested applicants for the tenor position should send a live recording, picture, and a brief bio to the following email address: wsawrey67@hotmail.com

The Booth Brothers are once again represented by The Harper Agency for concert bookings.

The Gatlin Brothers and Time-Life recently released four of their older albums to various digital streaming platforms. The album titles are: Family Gospel Favorites, Sincerely, Your Ticket to Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, and In My Life. (Click the album titles to listen on YouTube Music.)

    Lefevre Quartet have a new album coming out soon called Hope. Mike mentioned about it on Facebook today that they are releasing soon!

      Sadly, and for no good reason I can understand, Daywind doesn’t publicize their new releases in advance or provide a list. I have asked them numerous times. It’s basically free publicity that we make available to them…oh well.
