  1. Chris Koiner

    Also out today:

    1) The Browders – Authentic
    2) Taranda Greene – Spirit of Christmas (Deluxe Edition)
    3) Woody Wright – Songsmith

Thanks Chris. I have asked record labels to provide that sort of information to us, but some of them evidently see no advantage in having a free announcement made about their releases. It’s funny that Taranda’s Spirit Of Christmas wasn’t even listed on their distributor’s website either, which I check weekly. I guess it’s a secret.

  2. Terry Franklin

I think Jim Thrasher was the Lead singer for the Thrasher Brothers Quartet. Joe was the tenor. But Jim could probably sing tenor. Buddy, too. RIP, Jim.

      Thanks Terry.

  3. J E Butler

Actually…Jim was the tenor but Joe stood where the tenor typically stands. Jim was out for a period in the early 70’s and Ron Booth, SR (an excellent tenor) filled in. However, Joe Thrasher could sing tenor as well as anybody…

  4. Ed Butler

Ronnie Booth SR (a very fine tenor) actually filled in for Jim during an absence back in the early 70’s. Both Jim and Joe were capable of singing tenor, but Jim was the designated tenor. Their stage presence had Joe at the typical tenor spot, and that confused people…
