I recently had a great weekend in the great state of Mississippi. I combined my annual trip to Paid In Full’s homecoming concert in New Albany with seeing Unity 4, since they are also based in Mississippi and were singing near their home in Iuka.
The members of Paid In Full are Bradley Littlejohn, Lance Moore, and Brock White. Bradley, Lance and Jeff Crews started this group back in 1991 while still in high school. Every year Paid In Full comes up with different artists and formats for their homecoming event. Sometimes they have another group in, sometimes they have single artists like Gene McDonald, sometimes they have a full live band, and at one of the concerts I attended, they had their own church choir on several songs. This year’s concert featured Andrew Ishee for the release of their brand new album, “Old Time Feeling,” that Andrew produced for them. The album features ten southern gospel favorites from throughout the years, some of which are In The Sweet Forever, How Long Has It Been, The Holy Hills of Heaven, Living in Canaan Now, and one brand new song that Brock wrote entitled Jesus In Me. Although this group may not be travelling as much as they did back in the day when they won the Horizon Group of the Year Fan Award, they still sing about 2 weekends a month. In addition to serving as a Minister of Music, Andrew travels as pianist for the Bibletones Quartet from south Mississippi.
This year’s concert began with many of the older songs that the group has sung over their 27 years – I’ll Meet You on the Mountain, Higher Ground, I Will Sing the Wondrous Story, and more. Andrew then played and sang a few songs. After a short hymn sing with the audience, all of the songs of the new “Old Time Feeling” album were sung. Here are several videos to enjoy:
Andrew:
- Goodbye, World, Goodbye
- My Tree
- If Anybody Knows About the Love of Jesus – featuring Andrew’s wife, Sheree

Fortunately for me, Unity 4 Quartet was singing at a location that lined up perfectly with my travel plans, so on Sunday we drove over to lovely little Iuka’s Providence Baptist Church. This group’s members are Jacky Feazell, Casey Johnson, J.C. Johnson, and Mark McLain. This was an after-lunch concert on homecoming day at Providence Baptist Church and I really enjoyed the friendly little church and their new pastor. Here are some videos for you to enjoy:
I’m already looking forward to my next Mississippi adventure!
