Gospel Happenings

  • Singing News announced the winners of their 2017 Songwriters Search. Grand prize winners include “Bring On The Storm” written by Blake Bolerjack (to be recorded by 11th Hour), “Heavenly Peace” written by William Carroll Cook and Jennifer B. McCallister (to be recorded by Gordon Mote), and “You Came” written by Sherry Anne Lints (to be recorded by the Hyssongs).
  • The Dominion Agency announced they have reached an exclusive scheduling agreement with The Guardians.
  • The Hyssongs announced they have reached an exclusive booking agreement with The April Potter Agency.
  • Douglas and Melinda Davis of the Southern Gospel trio, Inheritance, announced the resignation of alto singer Wendy Lowe.
  • Trinity 3 announced the resignation of soprano Makenzie Conn at the end of 2017. The group is currently seeking a replacement to begin in February 2018.
