According to their facebook page, the Dixie Echoes have a new album coming out in June that will be released at the Memphis Quartet Show. The title is Can’t Hardly Wait. Maybe you have mentioned it before. Anyway, it appears that Mark Cates is included on it as the bass singer. Has he ever been officially announced as the bass singer? If so, I missed the announcement. If not, it’s kinda strange to include him on a brand new album when he is just a long term fill-in.

      Thank you, Darrell.

I don’t know if he has been named as an official new member, but if he’s a long-term sort of fill-in, I can understand why they’d go ahead and move forward with recording a CD vs. waiting indefinitely to get something out.
