Last Week’s Happenings
- Former Brian Free & Assurance bass singer Keith Plott announced he has joined the LeFevre Quartet. Plott replaces Trent Adams who was only with the group for a short time in 2016.
- Sonlite Records announced they have added soloist Steve Ladd to their family of recording artists. A new CD titled No Excuses, No Regrets is releasing later this year. (Between solo dates, Ladd also sings tenor with the Old Paths Quartet.)
- The Southern Gospel Music Guild (SGMG) announced plans to sponsor several music industry forums during 2017. BMI will host the inaugural forum at 1:00 PM this Tuesday, February 7, at the BMI building in Nashville. Admission is free and is open to anyone who derives a portion of their income from the Southern Gospel Music Industry.
Prayer Request
- Please pray for the Williamsons. They were involved in a bus accident on Sunday evening, January 29. No one was seriously injured, but the bus will require some repair.
- High Road is asking for prayer on behalf of the group’s leader, Sarah Davison, who will be undergoing a medical procedure this week.

March 10: Joseph Habedank “Resurrection”
I believe it’s Daywind release.
Probably so. I have asked Daywind to routinely provide us with release dates a few times, but…
‘They were involved in a bus on Sunday evening’
Yes, the brain thinks the words, but the fingers don’t always type all of them.
So is that the Kingsmen album title or have they just not figured it out yet? ;)
That is the actual title, but you can also say “they don’t know” (literally literally, not figuratively “literally”) the release date yet!
DBM, you HAVE to figure out a way to add “like” buttons to the comments….
