NEWS NUGGETS

The Dixie Echoes announced the addition of 23-year-old tenor singer Jonathan Rigdon. He hails from Brandon, Mississippi. The group is working on a new recording featuring Rigdon to be released in a few months.

The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development announced the Museum of Christian & Gospel Music in Nashville, Tennessee has been officially designated as a site along the U.S. Civil Rights Trail.

REMEMBERING

Debbie Baker of Forgiven, formerly a member of the Weatherfords, passed away on February 25. A memorial service for Baker will be held tomorrow in Harrison, Ohio.
