Rhonda House of Heart 2 Heart announced her departure from the group. This was her second stint with the group, having rejoined them in 2011 after a two-year stint beginning when Heart 2 Heart was launched in 1998. Heart 2 Heart will continue with existing members David and Deana Kiser, their daughter, Ashleigh, and Ashleigh’s husband, Riley Dotson.
The LeFevre Quartet announced the addition of 19-year-old pianist Jack Jordan. Despite his youth, Jordan has already logged two years of experience traveling and ministering with the Troy Burns Family.
REMEMBERING
Concert promoter Joe Brookover of Vienna, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, March 3. A memorial service for Brookover was held earlier this week in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Concert promoter, former radio DJ, and Southern Gospel “super fan” Carol Lawson passed away on Saturday, March 7. Lawson had promoted what turned out to be her final event in Virginia in February and as a fan, attended her final concert the night before her death. As a DJ, she aired Southern Gospel music on stations WXGI and WLEE. A memorial service for Lawson will be held on Tuesday, March 17 in Powhatan, Virginia.
