The Museum of Christian & Gospel Music will host the GMA Gospel Music Hall Of Fame’s opening on October 3 in Nashville, Tennesse. 194 Christian and Gospel music luminaries will be honored with a permanent exhibit showcasing their lives and legacies. Record label mogul Mike Curb has been named co-presenter of the Hall Of Fame.
Home Church Records has signed Brownsville, Kentucky trio Crimson Chord. A new album is forthcoming.
REMEMBERING
Former WVRS/WTRN disc jockey Rich Bruce passed away on Sunday, August 25. Bruce had announced in a Facebook post on August 13 that his doctors had informed him there was no further treatment available for the congestive heart failure he had been battling for months.
