NEWS NUGGETS

The Guardians Quartet announced the addition of baritone singer Dale Forbes. Forbes sang with the Singing Americans years ago and most recently performed with Port City Quartet. He replaces Scott Mullins who left to join Greater Vision a few weeks ago.

Tony Griffith has been named Executive Tour Director for the upcoming America 250 Tour, a nationwide celebration marking the 250th birthday of the United States of America. The tour promises to hold events in all 50 US states during 2026. 

The LeFevre Quartet celebrated their 20th anniversary with a special concert last Saturday, July 19.

REMEMBERING

Hayes Family matriarch Lucy Hayes passed away on July 21. A celebration of life service will be held for Hayes on Tuesday, July 29 in Boone, North Carolina.

Jack Bagwell passed away on July 21. Bagwell sang with the Palmetto State Quartet for 45 years from 1952 to 1997. A funeral service for Bagwell was held earlier today in Piedmont, South Carolina.
