NEWS NUGGETS
Bass guitar player Lorie Mullins Sikes, formerly of the Crabb Family and the Huckabee TV show, has joined a group called Old Tradition. The group performs a blend of Southern Gospel, worship, and Country roots gospel styles.
The Singing News talent competition at Jackson Sings the Gospel was won by Ryan Day (soloist division) and the Roberson Trio (group division).
The Staunton, Viriginia-based Crestmen have announced the group will retire in December.
