For the Forgiven

by | Nov 24, 2024 | Uncategorized

Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” ~Luke 7:47

Several members of our church are involved in jail ministry, and because of them, I have seen firsthand the truth of this verse. Men and women whose lives seemed hopeless are quick to give praise to the One who delivered them from drugs, alcohol, and whatever else they were involved in before Christ. They are thankful for those who led them to the Lord. They have been forgiven much, and they love much as joy radiates from their faces.

All Believers in Christ have been forgiven, but some have lost sight of the person they were or what they would be without Him. They too should love much but, sadly, some don’t.

As we approach Thanksgiving, I encourage you to ponder what God has saved you from. Maybe it was from a sinful lifestyle; maybe it was from a path you could have gone down but didn’t. Regardless, you have a lot to be thankful for. If you have a testimony, I would love to hear it. Just leave a comment below.

I hope you have a blessed holiday week!
