The Dixie Echoes announced the departure of tenor singer Trenton Williamson who is starting a new job with the state of Mississippi. Williamson had sung with the quartet since 2021. Any tenor singers interested in applying for the open position are asked to submit an audio or video clip and resume to scootde78@aol.com

Nic Holland announced he is leaving Poet Voices. Any tenor singers interested in applying for the open position are asked to submit a demo and photo to poetvoices@gmail.com

The North Carolina Music Hall Of Fame announced their 2023 inductees will include George Beverly Shea whose career spanned more than 80 years from the early 1930s to his death in 2013. The induction ceremony will be held on October 19 at the Mooresville Performing Arts Center in Mooresville, North Carolina.

For the fourth consecutive year, Paul Sizelove, president of Gaither Music Group, has been included on Billboard‘s Indie Power Players list.

The Gaither Music TV YouTube channel recently crossed the 3 billion life-to-date views now has more than 3 million subscribers.

REMEMBERING

Former Cathedral Quartet tenor singer Roy Tremble passed away on Tuesday, June 13th. A Homegoing Celebration will be held tomorrow in Alexandria, Indiana. Click HERE to read Tremble’s complete obituary.
