I attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Southern Gospel Music Association’s new Hall Of Fame & Museum this afternoon.
It was PACKED, which is great news for the SGMA, but prevented me from getting any photos of the actual ribbon-cutting itself.
There are a few displays in the waiting area of Biblical Times Dinner Theater which should encourage folks to check out the museum. Also, anyone passing by can see the Blackwood Brothers Bus on display outside next to Teaster Lane. The memorial bricks that have been purchased over the years are also displayed with the bus.
The new facility is compact but laid out well with the main feature being the large plaques featuring short bios of Hall Of Fame members.
The best news is the museum now has a new home and is open to the public.
Great News!!!
