With tour schedules heating up again, the Perrys are accepting auditions for the positions of lead and baritone singers. Singers Troy Peach and Andrew Goldman left the group in August (with the blessing of the Perrys) when the group was unable to travel. Daywind Music Publishing announced this week that songwriter Barry Weeks was added to their roster a few weeks ago.
The National Quartet Convention announced permission has been granted to proceed with the Spring Break event April 8-9, 2021 using the original seating configuration presented to ticket buyers. An overflow area will be available for social-distancing, and a mask ordinance remains in effect for Sevier County. Fans also have the option of purchasing a live-stream experience through Godsey Media.
The promoters of the James D. Vaughan Quartet Festival announced the event will return to the Crockett Theater in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on July 28-31, 2021. Like most major concert events, the festival was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Click HERE for more details.

REMEMBERING
Dave Emery, former manager and vocalist with the Chuck Wagon Gang, passed away Wednesday, March 24. He and wife, Phyllis, had retired to Bradenton, Florida.
