Top Songs from 2019 Albums That Should Be Radio Singles In 2020
The following songs were not released to radio in time to appear on the Singing News Top 80 chart in 2019, but all of these would be great additions to the airways in 2020. Record labels will hopefully take note and push these songs to radio soon.

  1. Just Drink The Water – Kingdom Heirs (Some a cappella is a nice change of pace.)
  2. I Believe The Book – Legacy Five (I like this even more than “What Kind Of Man.” It should have been the first single.)
  3. I Stand Redeemed – Cana’s Voice (This was a big song for Legacy Five 20 years ago, but Cana’s Voice gives it a fresh spin.)
  4. Without Jesus – Brian Free & Assurance (Great song)
  5. Nothing At All – HighRoad (This song would be a great contrast to the usual radio fare.)
  6. Take You To The Cross – Perrys (This should be Andrew Goldman’s signature song)
  7. On The Road To Emmaus – The Sound (This was a hit for the Steeles, but like “I Stand Redeemed,” it would be nice to see it head up the charts a second time.)
  8. Heaven – Melissa Brady (Many of today’s songs address day-to-day life issues, and that’s fine, but it’s still great to hear a song about Heaven from time to time.)
  9. The God I Know – The Old Paths (There’s a great message in this lyric)
  10. Hanging Out With Old Folks – Tim Menzies (No one spins a story quite like Tim Menzies.)
