Top 10 Radio Singles Of 2017
These are my picks for the top radio singles of 2017. To qualify for this Top 10 list, a song had to appear on the Singing News Top 80 monthly airplay chart at least one month during 2017.

1. Give Me Jesus – Ernie Haase & Signature Sound
2. Chain Breaker – Triumphant Quartet
3. I Hear A Song – Lauren Talley
4. The Last Big Thing – Kingdom Heirs
5. Life Is Good – Hoppers
6. Somewhere I’m Going – High Road
7. Here He Comes – Joseph Habedank
8. A Day In The Life Of Jesus – Misty Freeman
9. He Welcomes The Beggar – 11th Hour
10. Mercy Tree – Ball Brothers

Staying Power (I want to mention these three songs, because they appeared on my 2016 Top 10 list and continued to chart during 2017.)
After All This Time – Talleys
Living In The Promised Land – Triumphant Quartet
Lord Of Mercy – Master’s Voice

Top Songs From 2017 Albums That Should Be Radio Singles In 2018
This list features songs from 2017 CD releases that I’d like to see move on to become radio hits in 2018. It’s possible that some these are already getting airplay, but they didn’t reach the Top 80 in time to appear on the chart in 2017.
1. He Can Take It – Brian Free & Assurance
2. Victory – Kingdom Heirs
3. Bottom Of The Barrel – Triumphant Quartet
4. Little Is Much – Michael English
5. No Room For Hate – Mark Lowry
6. I Believe – Lauren Talley
7. Love Will Never Give Up – Karen Peck & New River
8. My Everyday Life – The Old Paths
9. Dead Things – Joseph Habedank
10. Love Goes A Mighty Long Way – Masters Voice

In 2016, the Carolina Boys’ song “Treasures In Heaven” was on my list of suggested singles for 2017. I was pleased to see it receive enough attention at radio in 2017 to appear in the Top 80.
