MusicScribe

History Of MusicScribe:
The original MusicScribe website was launched in 1998, offering music arranging services by David Bruce Murray. He also had a separate site called “Dave’s Place” to showcase his CD reviews. These sites were later merged under the MusicScribe brand.

The MusicScribe blog was launched in September 2004. Many of the early blog articles focused on the history of Southern Gospel groups. These articles were eventually transferred to the wiki site, SGHistory.com.

In 2009, regular contributor Kyle Boreing joined the MusicScribe team. In 2013, popular Southern Gospel bloggers Steve Eaton, Diana Brantley and Phil Boles merged their blogs with MusicScribe. In 2014, Steve Eaton returned to his own blog, and Keith Waggoner joined the MusicScribe team.
