NEWS THIS WEEK

With mass gatherings forbidden across the country to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, most Southern Gospel concerts were canceled this past weekend and that looks to be the new norm for at least a few more weeks. Because they can’t travel, many groups are offering concerts online. Some of those are free, some offer an option to make a donation, and some will require a fee. Check your favorite group’s website and social media pages for details.

Singing News magazine announced the Top Ten finalists in for the 2020 Fan Awards. At the moment, those do not appear to be listed on the Singing News website, but you can view them on the Singing News Facebook page by clicking HERE and scrolling down to find each category.

Absolutely Gospel announced they have postponed their awards presentation originally scheduled for April 28. A make-up date has not yet been set.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please pray for Jason Clark of the Nelons who is now recovering from knee surgery earlier today. His doctor said the surgery went well.

Would love to see y’all pull together all the free concert links in one spot on your website. Just a thought…
