Best Of The 2010s: Song, Album, and Concept Video

by | Feb 27, 2020 | Superlatives

Thank you to all who have responded via Facebook and the occasional comment here over the past two weeks. I hope each of you had as much fun following the results as I have watching the votes come in. Thanks for sticking with us to the end!

I had originally intended for these results to end with yesterday’s article.

When five of us submitted five nominations each and there was only one duplicate title among the 24 results in the Song category, and just slightly more overlap in Album and Concept Video, I didn’t think we’d be able to reach a consensus for an overall number one in those three categories. That’s why each staff member posted their personal picks last week.

When I logged each individual’s overall choice and two honorable mentions into a spreadsheet and saw the results, though, I realized we did have three unique winners as well as a clear second choice in each category. The voting was obviously very tight as you can see from the rest of the results. The ties begin at the third position for Song and Concept Video and at the fourth position for Album.
