Bruce Taliaferro who sang lead for Gold City from 2008-2010 has returned to fill the same role in the wake of Scott Brand’s resignation. Brand had been traveling with the group since 2016.

Former Mark Trammell Quartet tenor Blake Buffin announced the formation of a new quartet called Mission IV. Joining Buffin in the new venture are Josh Worley, Bryan Potteiger, and former Stamps Quartet tenor singer Brian Worley.

The McKameys announced the engagement of guitarist and featured vocalist Eli Fortner to Alexia Lauren, a makeup artist and esthetician from Waynesville, North Carolina.

The Leconte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN (location of the National Quartet Convention) announced a covered pedestrian bridge is being installed over Teaster Lane. New parking lots were in the process of being installed on the opposite side of t0he 4-lane highway in 2019 and buses were used to shuttle fans back and forth; this new bridge will provide a second option to access the parking lots.
