Music Biz Monday: A Look at Vinyl Formats

Music Biz Monday: A Look at Vinyl Formats

Since I’m apparently on a physical media kick as of late, I thought I might share a video I recently found that gives a rather interesting look at the history of vinyl – specifically the 12″ LP format (33 1/3 RPM) and the 7″ single format (45 RPM).

FAIR WARNING: The video, created by YouTube creator, “Techmoan,” is rather detailed, and at nearly 40 minutes, doesn’t necessarily make for casual viewing, but is interesting nonetheless, especially when you consider current trend of streaming music song-by-song.
