GOSPEL MUSIC HAPPENINGS

Daywind Records announced that Wilburn & Wilburn have reunited to record a new studio album produced by Ben Isaacs and Scott Godsey. A glance at their schedule reveals four scheduled appearances, but there is no official word yet on whether the father/son duo plans to resume touring full-time.

The National Quartet Convention announced it is going on the road in November. Four groups operated by board members of the NQC will appear in Tulsa, OK; Oklahoma City, OK, and Hallsville, TX on a tour branded NQC Road Trip.

Jordan Wilburn has been touring with Jonathan most of the year already. Not sure why they haven’t advertised this better on social media.

It may just be a matter of how each event was initially scheduled through the booking agency, but yes, I’d think they’d make an announcement of some sort if they both plan to resume touring full-time.
