GOSPEL MUSIC HAPPENINGS

Former Gold City and Brian Free & Assurance bass singer Bill Lawrence is returning to Southern Gospel music after a 13-year absence. Lawrence is joining the Diplomats, replacing Alex Utech who left the group last year.

Singing News is now accepting entries for their 2019 Songwriter’s Search. The grand prize winner’s song will be recorded and performed by the Kingdom Heirs. Click HERE for details.

The National Quartet Convention announced that Christian Healthcare Ministries will be their first-ever title sponsor in 2019. CHM is a voluntary health cost sharing ministry that meets the individual mandate required by national healthcare law.

Vonda Easley of Hope’s Journey announced a reorganization of her trio. She will be joined at future singing and speaking events by Alicia Estis and Jenny Stork, both of Mississippi.

Prayer Request

Please pray for Dixie Melody Boys owner/bass singer Ed O’Neal who is recovering from a car accident that happened this past Monday, April 1. O’Neal had multiple fractures, but does not require surgery.

The Webb Family has requested prayers for Hannah Webb who had back surgery this past Tuesday, April 2.
