- A copy of the Matt Felts CD Based on A True Story has been donated to the Baseball Hall Of Fame to be used in their displays. The CD includes the song “The First Baseball Game” featuring baseball player and current Miami Marlins manager Don Mattingly.
- Gadsden, Alabama trio Surrendered has been added to Chapel Valley’s roster of recording artists. The group formed in 2015. Group members include Russell Wise, Tiffany Hamilton, and Jesse Fuson.
- Song Garden Music announced the addition of Wheelersburg, Ohio trio, The Joneses, to their family of recording artists.
- This week, we learned that TaRanda Greene and a children’s choir will perform “O Holy Night” during Lipscomb University’s Lighting Of The Green this coming Tuesday, November 27. The annual event is hosted by Amy Grant.
Remembering
- The Southern Gospel industry recalled fond memories of pioneer Les Beasley this week. Beasley passed away on Saturday, November 17. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 27, at Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida.
